New Disclosures Help Understand Your Illness |

Big things helping clear up my understanding of how and why you develop diabetes. It was called adult onset diabetes because it only affected the elderly. Now getting down to where even kids are developing it. The reason is the American diet has deteriorated rapidly, since 1950 and the kids diet is ten times as bad for causing diabetes, as when you were a kid. The two and three pops they are drinking a day, alone is more sugar rush then you got as a kid all day, and worse thing of all it is that pop sugar is not even sugar...it is man made sugar, that is NOT handled like regular sugar by your body. But they just can not understand why the epidemic of diabetes.......cheez..... Biggest helpful disclosure (for me at least) recently was that you lose 1% of your muscle mass yearly after the age of forty. Also recent disclosures that muscles have a big function in other life processes then just moving you around. This tells me why you get in trouble after 40 with some of these diseases, and the older you get the more likely.....you are losing muscle mass. We have done several articles on explaining the difference between exercise and strength training. We told you it is the only thing GUARANTEED to help your diabetes extensively. The difference is exercise just keeps the present muscles (what's left) busy and helps slow down their turning to flab. It also burns a little blood sugar but not much. Strength training is an exercise carefully designed to ADD and build NEW muscle you never had before. Old muscle, (what's left) has become insulin resistant and wont store sugar any more... (why you have diabetes) NEW MUSCLE WILL it has not become insulin resistant.... yet. We highly recommend you go to good pro gym and take up strength training. (no matter what age, it works) if you want to fix your diabetes....and get it off, the killing you list, here is the answer that works. Not only has your long time muscle become insulin resistant (refuses to store sugar) now you are gradually losing even that. so at 1% loss a year, by 60 you have lost 20% of your muscle mass, and poor me at 80, have lost 40% of my muscle mass. We have referred to your muscle mass as your natural sugar dump when you ate food causing too high a sugar peak your body could dump it temporarily over in your muscle sugar dump, but you have lost the dump ground, so you either cut down the sugar peaks or you have diabetes, cause there is no way for your body to handle sugar peaks any more. No place for it to dump high sugar peaks. This helps explain why you got diabetes and what the problem and cause is. This may also help understand why you can NOT get away with the diet you used to eat. Drastic change is necessary and it is getting worse, losing muscle mass, year by year. So wake up, get some new muscles, before they box you up.
